Self-Made in 60 Days

Personal branding is your reputation by design. In 60 days, we are helping 60 founders and freelancers across South Yorkshire build their personal brand and attract opportunities.

This is an interactive accelerator programme for ambitious and aspiring freelancers and founders who want to develop a marketing channel that brings leads and opportunities to their business.

A mix of online sessions and in-person events, participants meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and network with established business owners in a relaxed environment.

Start with £250
In partnership with: Yorkshire in Business
Funded by: Better Connect

Designed exclusively for individuals across North Yorkshire who are economically inactive, Start with £250 provides funding to test a business idea, raise aspirations and build the confidence and skills to move towards financial independence.

This is a 6-week rolling programme. Some of the business types currently being supported include dog walking, marketing, mobile coffee van, filmmaking, nail salon and car valeting.

All sessions are in-person, with mid-week online drop-in support.

Runs from September to March 2027.
